Shannon Reynolds attended the University of Oklahoma, and is certified in Early Childhood Development. With over a decade of experience in childcare and education, she has served in that capacity as a program leader, counselor, nanny, and tutor from New England to Hawaii. An avid musician, she knew she wanted to play drums at age five and has been playing ever since. You can find her playing in jazz ensembles, drum circles, community orchestras, and collaborating with local musicians. For two years, she served as a volunteer coordinator and treasurer for a local non-profit, organizing over 5,000 hours of community service per quarter and learning the “ins and outs” of non-profit management.  Her private studies in Permaculture and Sustainability led her cross-country, where she learned landscape design, soil conservation, cobb construction, and organic farming. Awards include national recognition for community volunteerism projects, and best original set design for a community theatrical production. Other certifications include wilderness first aid and Leadership Development.

Shannon spends her free time going on adventures with her Siberian Husky, Saraswati. She is passionate about mindfulness meditation, writing, camping, and hiking. It has been her great privilege to work at TheraFUNction since February of 2017.
