Danielle graduated from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center with a master’s degree in speech language pathology in 2013. Danielle has a passion to work with children and is joining us from her previous position at 29th Street Pediatric Speech Therapy Center in Chickasha. She has developed a solid foundation in a variety of pediatric communication and language disorders including: Autism Spectrum Disorders, Sensory Processing Disorders, Receptive and Expressive language delays, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Dysarthria, Dysphagia, Behavioral Management, and Augmentative and Alternative communication systems. Danielle is licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, and she is certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. Danielle fits the TheraFUNction model of being a child-directed therapist and knows how to follow cues from a child to enhance their therapeutic experience. She herself believes in the “FUN” of therapy and knows how to present activities to children to engage them and facilitate communication. In her free time, Danielle enjoys nature and has an avid passion for all animals. She spends much of her free time with her dogs (Jayde and Bronson) walking, hiking, or playing in the back yard. When not working or caring for her animals, Danielle loves country music, two-stepping, and off-roading.
